On February 17, 2008, Pristina unilaterally declared independence and proclaimed the Republic of Kosovo.
The new state was recognized by over 100 countries, but not by Serbia, Greece, Russia, China, or five EU member states.

Bulgaria was not among them, but Bulgarian public sentiment was on Serbia’s side.

Those who called themselves patriots or nationalists were also against Kosovo’s independence… with one exception — the Bulgarian National Union!
In fact, it wasn’t even the BNU as a whole, but specifically Boyan Rasate, because that was the first time disagreements appeared within our organization.

Despite the lack of unanimous approval, Boyan Rasate made a unilateral decision to recognize Kosovo as support against our centuries-old enemy — Serbia!

And now, 18 years later, the same people who for two decades called Albanians “gypsies” went to take photos with them?!
What hypocrisy!

The same people who in Bulgaria fabricated vulgar sexual stories about Boyan and his family, dragging in an acquaintance of his, while implying that Albanians are gypsies, now went to Pristina to make eyes at the nationalists there?!
What shamelessness!

How do we describe this two-faced scum?

We support Kosovo, while they pose for photos in Pristina?!
We support Ukraine with money and fighters, while they claim credit for our efforts?!
We are killed in the cells of State Security, while they claim they were the ones repressed?!

How do we describe this filth?!

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR THE PARASITES IN NATIONALISM!
