ANCESTORS AND PARENTS
On my mother’s side I originate from two clans of priests – the Popvassilevs, of my grandmother, who was a teacher of Bulgarian, and the Popnikolovs, of my grandfather, who was a physician.
The memory of the beginning of Popnikolov clan starts from the village of Kramolin, dating back to circa 1710. Over 300 years have passed since then, and through these have my ancestors dealt mainly with trade and agriculture. The clan’s name comes from pop Nikola (Priest Nickolas), who c. 1871- 1876 was one of the founders of the
Bulgarian Revolutionary Central Committee (BRCC) in the village.

An undoubted notable who dealt in addition to agriculture with politics, however, was my great-grandfather Hristo Popov – people’s representative of the Democratic Agreement at XXI Ordinary National Assembly. Though with interruption, he was the mayor of the village for 15 whole years.
In 1896, he served in His Majesty’s Life Guards Mounted Regiment, and in the First World War he fought on the South Line in Macedonia.
After the end of the war, he was a member of the patriotic military organisation called Union of Reserve Non-commissioned officers (URNO).
His nephews Nikola and Yako Popov also dealt with politics, but they were luckless in contrast to their uncle: after the communist coup d’état of 9 September 1944 they were killed and then sentenced to death extramurally by the so-called People’s Court of Law. Yako Popov’s son, Ivan, as a former member of the Union of Bulgarian National Legions (UBNL), was repressed for many years by the ‘people’s power’.

My grandfather Wilhelm Popov, a candidate non-commissioned officer, was given twice the order ‘For Bravery’, served as a tankman in the Armoured Brigade of the Tsardom of Bulgaria and took part in the liberation of West Bulgaria from the Serbian power. In December 1944, he died under doubtful circumstances in the city of Sofia.
My grandmother Mariya, on my mother’s side, was born in the town of Lyubimets, where the family of her father, Priest Vassil, lived. They all were fugitive from East Thrace. Before she got married, she worked as a teacher of Bulgarian.
My clan on my father’s side is of West Bulgaria, of the village of Vlassina, which is now in serbia (I have purposefully written the name of this country hostile to Bulgaria with a small letter.). My grandfather Stanko, from whom our family name proceeds, was a persistent and physically very strong man. Despite this, after many years of resistance against the Serbian terrorism, he finally gave up and on a stormy night, together with his brother, he started walking across the border towards the villages near the town of Trun, in one of which he settled and created a family.

At the age of 4, I went with my parents to live in Stuttgart, Germany, where my father was on a business trip.
In connection with this, I had suffered for many years comments on the political belonging of my parents.
This was why, in 2024, I asked for a reference from the
Commission on Revealing the Documents and Declaring the Belonging of Bulgarian Citizens to State Security and the Intelligence Services of the Bulgarian People’s Army about my father, Boyan Stankov, and my mother, Temenouga Popova, which helped me to put an end to all the speculations on this matter.
By profession, my mother was an assistant pharmacist and my father worked as a technician at Balkan Car State Enterprise.
No one of them was a member of the Bulgarian Communist Party or an informer working for the State Security Service!
SCHOOL AND EDUCATION
Up to the third grade, I studied at a German school (Salier-Grund und Hauptschule, Waiblingen), which I left when my father passed away, in 1980.
After my father’s demise, my mother and I were returned to Bulgaria, where I did not adjust myself to the new and strange to me atmosphere.
Soon I began my
“anti-state” activity with a stern rebuke in front of the class for non-respect for the deceased General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Leonid Brezhnev.
Reduced grade of behaviour followed and before long I was given on a ‘Comrades’ Trial’ at the neighbourhood section of the Patriotic Front (PF). After all this, it was only natural that I was spotted by the so-called ‘Children’s Pedagogical Room’.
Thank God that the communist freaks of nature officially gave the power in 1989, or else my life would have continued as very unhappy…
I completed my secondary education at the Seventh Secondary School, with detailed studying of German.
After graduating from the secondary school, I served as a tankman in the Fifth Tank Brigade of the Bulgarian Army, in the town of Kazanluk, from 1989 to 1991.
After my dismissal from the barracks, I enrolled at New Bulgarian University in the specialty Political Sciences. In order to sustain myself in those years, I had to work as a common worker, night guard, and even as a cleaner at the railway engine depot.
Till 1997, I worked at various places and then I ran for some time a business of my own.
POLITICAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
On 20 April 1991, I became a member of the Bulgarian National Radical Party (BNRP), and a few months later I became the chairman of its organisation for young people. As a party member I participated in establishing regional structures and helped with the carrying-out of parliamentary elections in the autumn of that same year. Then, those who were to be additionally balloted for were the candidates from the Bulgarian Socialist Party (communists) and the ones from the Union of Democratic Forces. Then, the chairman of BNRP, Ivan Ghyorghiev, appealed to the members to vote for the BSP’s candidate Velko Gyorghiev, who, by the way, was also the chairman of the Bulgarian Anti-fascist Union. Many of these members, including myself, did not obey that directive and left the party.
In March 1992, we established from the former organisation for young people of the Bulgarian National Radical Party a new nationalistic organisation –
Right Democratic Movement (RDM) and I was elected as its chairman.
Our organisation was very active, but because of insufficient funding and experience it lasted for only 2 years. During that short time, RDM carried out a number of actions against Gypsies and the sects, which were very active in those years.
Among our better-known public acts were the setting fire to the Turkish national banner on 20 April in front of the People’s Theatre and our campaign against immigrants from the Third World.
< BULGARIAN NATIONAL UNION - EDELWEISS >
In 2000, I was the initiator of the establishment of a non-party organisation for young people, which we initially called Bulgarian National Resistance, but later renamed to Bulgarian National Union "Edelweiss". After secret ballot, I was elected as leader of the Union.
As a symbol of the Bulgarian National Union I chose the sign of Doulo clan (the clan of Khan Asparouh – the founder of Bulgaria) – IYI, which we put onto the banners and our regional standards, and the motto ‘
When the right turns into lawlessness, resistance is obligatory’ became our leading devise. As patron of our organisation we accepted the leader of the Union of the Bulgarian National Legions, General Hristo Lukov, who was assassinated in 1943.

In 2007, I was accepted as an honourable member of
Falange Española.
In February 2010, I left the organisation for young people NGO Bulgarian National Union "Edelweiss"
(reference HERE) and started together with our old-time members to create the structures of the party
BULGARIAN NATIONAL UNION.
Immediately after my leaving, a few traitors, because of spite and envy, started spreading the lie that I had been expelled, etc.
AN ATTACK AND A WAR WITH COMPROMATORY PIECES OF INFORMATION
Three months later, I was attacked in front of my home by unknown people armed with hammers and brass knuckles. Thanks to my resistance the attackers were rebuffed but, nevertheless, I had received a number of injury wounds on my body and it became necessary to have 16 stitches on my head.
If at that moment I had not been with one associate of mine, the consequences for me would have been much worse.
The attackers have never been identified. But, as it is said I such cases: ‘What does not kill us makes us stronger.’
Just a few days after the incident,
the yellow-paged newspapers ‘The Weekend’, ‘The Shock’ and ‘The Contra’, as well as a few Internet sites, all of these owned or funded by the mass media group of Delyan Peevski (Movement for Rights and Liberties),
began a campaign against my family and myself.
From the pages of his party newspaper, Russia’s servile servant Volen Siderov, who at that time was related to the ones in power, from CEDB/MRL (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria/Movement for Rights and Freedoms), also threw a lot of mud on my name and started legal proceedings against me because I had defined him as ‘spiritual asshole’…

In that same year, 2010, I participated in the establishment of
European Action (ЕА), whose national representative for Bulgaria was me until its existence was prohibited in 2017.
In the following years, I won the case versus Siderov, as well as a few other cases versus
"New Media Group", the issuer of the yellow-paged newspapers. Delyan Peevski was sentenced
to pay me compensations amounting to several thousand levs for the published ‘false pieces of information intended for eroding the prestige of my name.’
Though polluted by all this, I, anyway, have inner satisfaction because the acts of my enemies show that I am on the right way.
And in order to be crystal-clear, to horrify the liberal tolerant assholes, I am going to cite not anything but an excerpt from My Struggle by Adolf Hitler:
‘He whom the corrupted newspapers do not attack, i.e. do not heap with curses and calumnies, is not a real nationalist and a descent man at all. The more the deadly enemies of our people hate and prosecute an activist, the more honest this man is, the clearer his intentions are, the more useful his activity is…’
And also:
‘…we must consider every blow the calumniating press strikes on us a wound of honour…after you get up in the morning, take in your hands a newspaper of theirs, and if you do not find in it a new calumny against you, this means that your yesterday has passed in vain…’
I do not know by means of what criteria other people see how the land lies, but to me the meaning of these words is fundamental because if you have not succeeded in making your enemies hate you, this means that you are of a too little worth!
We must not be afraid of the enemy’s hatred, but strive for making him hate us as much as possible for the work we do in favour of our nation!
THE WAR IN UKRAINE
In 2021, I was running for a president of the Republic of Bulgaria and, at the same time, I was on trial for an attack on a Lesbian-and-Gay Bulgarian Television Centre (LGBT).
A few months after that, the full-scale war against Ukraine began.

As a nationalist and anti-communist, I was deeply touched by what was going on. It was my firm conviction that the time had come for us to defend our ideology on the battlefield and this was why I submitted a request for joining the International Legion of the Armed forces of Ukraine. My request was considered but not granted because of the legal proceedings taken against me.
I accepted this refusal with disappointment and the reconciliation that the Providence had other plans for me to fulfil.
Soon a court prohibition to leave my permanent place of residence was issued, so I decided to help by raising funds for the men fighting on the line.

For the aid provided for raising the fighting efficiency of the belligerent, I was rewarded with charters of honour from:
– 3rd Separate Storm Brigade;
– the Belorussian Voluntary Corps;
– the Belorussian Battalion TERROR;
– 49th Separate Assault Battalion Carpathian Sich
JOURNALISTIC ATTEMPTS

On a day in April 2007, I became a host to the National Guard Broadcast on Balkan Bulgarian Television (BBT).
Considering what was done at that time, I think that there was much room for improvement, but despite this the broadcast had an undoubted success.
With an average audience of 80,000 people, National Guard was one of the most popular political broadcasts on air then.
In 2009, a grouping related to the Movement for Rights and Liberties and to Peevski bought the television and the new owners disestablished the broadcast short before the parliamentary elections.
At that same time, 2007-2009, I was writing comments on political and social themes in the weekly ‘Newspaper for the Woman’.
After 2010, I used to write for some time articles for Weekly Labour Newspaper.
In 2024, we established
SECTOR 18 – a broadcast for culture and politics, whose host and chief editor is me, which we transmit on YouTube.
