All events in the nationalist calendar are connected to BNU because we are the ones who revive forgotten traditions or create new ones.

The most famous event we initiated was LUKOVMARCH, which started as an effort to popularize the figure of General Hristo Lukov but grew into an annual gathering of nationalists—before it was corrupted and transformed into the so-called March of Tolerance... But let us leave this painful topic aside, as our focus is elsewhere.

We also established the commemoration at the site where Colonel Dimitar Spisarevski fell, the tribute to the hero of Marseille, Vlado Chernozemski, in the former village of Kamenitsa, the remembrance of the Neuilly Dictate in Plovdiv, the commemoration of Todor Alexandrov’s death in the Pirin Mountains, and even the mystery in honor of Captain Gerhard Wengel...

However, one date remained somewhat forgotten—April 20th, the beginning of the April Uprising in 1876 and the Day of a Reborn Macedonia, which in 1941 was liberated by our German allies.
This year, we laid the foundation of a new tradition that we will develop and establish in the future.

Honoring our ancestors who fought and died against the Turkish oppressors, along with those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of Macedonia in 1941, must find its rightful place in the calendar of Bulgarian nationalists.

Macedonian Bulgarians welcome the German troops in liberated Macedonia with joy and gratitude.
