February 1, 1945 – the cold has gripped the land and the souls!
The condemned are led from their cells and taken to the outskirts of the Sofia cemetery.
There, the regents of the underage Simeon II, ministers, and members of parliament are lined up before a muddy trench and executed!

Before them, in the so-called "40 irresponsible days," 40,000 Bulgarians lost their lives—writers, priests, doctors, military officers, farmers, and industrialists.

Among the victims of communist terror were also the pioneers of Bulgarian nationalism:

  • Prof. Dr. Boris Yotsov
  • Krum Mitakov, NZF
  • Alexander Belev, RNB
  • Petar Gabrovski, RNB
  • Dr. Alexander Staliyski, SBRZ
  • Hristo Statev, SBNL
  • Slaveyko Vasilev, SZO
  • Dr. Stefan Klechkov, Brannik
  • Danail Krapchev, VMORO
  • Prof. Alexander Stanishev
  •

Their memory lives on, yet they are not honored as they deserve!

We consider it our duty TO LAY THE FOUNDATIONS OF A NEW FORM OF TRIBUTE!
A mystery worthy of these martyrs and fathers of Bulgarian nationalism!

We have sworn an oath, and we shall fulfill it! Honor and remembrance!
