Yes, we are talking about Elena Poptodorova! When we talk about decommunization, we mean exactly people like her!
Her career began as a close associate of the Pravets gypsy Todor Zhivkov.
After the formal end of the communist era, Poptodorova was elected as an MP three times from the BSP and once from the party of "Lupi the thief," also a communist.
From 2002 to 2008 and from 2010 to 2016, she served as Bulgaria’s ambassador to the United States.
She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Atlantic Council and the first director of the American Jewish Committee's office for Central Europe.
In 2017, she was arrested at Warsaw Airport for shoplifting cosmetics from a duty-free store and was subsequently convicted!
For those who still don’t get it—Elena Poptodorova is a prime example of the communist nomenklatura that not only robbed a store but stole the lives of several generations of Bulgarians!
And yet, today, the corrupt media—accomplices of the thieving politicians—continue to invite this thieving communist scum to their broadcasts!
