On the Day of Wengel and of the fallen defender pilots, you will not see those scum who present themselves as Bulgarian nationalists but shed tears of emotion and admiration whenever Russia is mentioned.
On January 10, in a distinctive way, those present pay tribute and immerse themselves in an atmosphere that is difficult to describe in words.
The veneration of Captain Wengel’s self-sacrifice is a mystery, a rite that connects us with the restless spirit of our ancestors.
In this ritual, night, the freezing cold, and fire occupy a central place — darkness and death, light and immortality!
I am happy that once again we are the ones responsible for all of this — THE BULGARIAN NATIONAL UNION!
