In Bulgaria, communism halted the natural course and development of nationalism in 1944.
That is why, throughout all the years since the founding of BNU, our main task has always been to make up for what was lost and to lead modern Bulgarian nationalism in the right direction!
Along the way, we constantly faced denial, ridicule, and obstacles placed both by our enemies and by those who called themselves “nationalists.”
But in the end, everything that today is called Bulgarian nationalism was created by us — BNU — and we are proud of that!
