Politics is a serious matter! The most serious one, in fact!
In the case of a medical mistake, most often, only one person suffers, but the wrong decisions of politicians affect millions!
It is only logical that politics should be handled by honest and well-informed individuals.
But let’s set aside the wishful thinking about honest politicians and take a look at the voters.
Elections are a part of politics, aren’t they? Therefore, not only politicians but also voters should meet certain criteria…
It’s important to talk about this because people with minimal political knowledge constantly push others—even less informed than them—to VOTE?!
How they vote doesn’t matter, as long as they do…
Some of these "motivators" even say: "I don’t understand politics, but I must and will vote."
This is democracy—the dictatorship of the mob, which elects degenerates!
And what happens to the honest and capable ones? They suffer!
To change this, several amendments to the electoral law are necessary. Here are the most important ones:
❌ Individuals with only primary or basic education – Educational requirement;
❌ Individuals with unpaid financial obligations to the state – Loyal citizen;
❌ Individuals under 18 and over 70 years of age – Age limit;
❌ Drug addicts and individuals with mental disorders – Mental health requirement;
❌ Individuals who have not lived permanently in Bulgaria for more than 5 years – Residency rule;
❌ Criminal offenders on probation and those serving prison sentences;
❌ Individuals deprived of voting rights under the Decommunization Law:
❌ Individuals participating in NGOs funded by foreign sources (except for organizations receiving funding for cultural development projects).
