Back then, a few of us attended one of their open meetings, and instead of welcoming us, they accused us of assaulting them and vandalizing their office.
A huge uproar followed—media condemnation, debates in parliament, and the revocation of Boyan Rasate’s immunity. Even 11 foreign ambassadors joined the commotion. This was followed by a high-profile arrest and a hastily assembled charge against Rasate.
In the courtroom, a whole crowd of activists was summoned, including Emily the Scooter, who is actually Daniel, along with their spouse—it's quite unclear, as at every hearing, the bodybuilder Tihomir, better known as Melissa, changes their gender identity.
Ultimately, under pressure and without evidence, the court convicted Boyan Rasate, who is currently appealing the decision.
A few days ago, however, the Supreme Court of Cassation returned the case to the previous instance due to inconsistencies in the testimonies of the homopedophiles.
